Excuse quoting Bodie Broadus from The Wire, but nothing else came to mind. Sorry to be a Jason Whitlock. This is my blog, it doesn't have much yet but it will touch on my activities, interests and hobbies. Music, movies, television and talking/playing/watching so much sports that it becomes nerdy is what I do. I love hip-hop, I am open minded about most every other type of music except for country and whiny people singing over punk rock rhythms and ska. Country bothers me more because of the ideology it supports more than anything. Generally, my life is an information overload but when I separate myself from the world, I enjoy it like it's my job. But I don't have a full time one so I live on the internet for a lot of the time in between catering and looking for full employment. Living that 21st century post-grad dream, which means living at home.

Re-posting this video from a while ago as a little NBA labor talk encouragement from the man of the hour, Michael Jordan. This is from when he was a player and hopefully his awkward dancing with Kid N’ Play can inspire players and owners to get to a deal, as unlikely as that is. As the song says, “Anything’s Possible,” so thanks for the words of encouragement, MJ.
I bet Michael Jordan would rather I didn’t bring this up. But it is too funny and much too nineties not to bring it up. From my favorite movie about any athlete, “Michael Jordan’s Playground,” the music video from the end credits featuring MJ himself dancing awkwardly. Thanks to the internet we will never forget.
