Oregon Ducks: Alleged Leaked Photograph of Ducks Uniform vs. Arkansas State

It appears as if these are the jerseys that the Oregon Ducks will be wearing this afternoon against Arkansas State.

While there has not been official word on these being the uniforms that the Ducks will be wearing this afternoon, word on Twitter seems to be that this is what the Oregon Ducks are sporting.

We will update this page as we learn more.

Like everybody else that is an Oregon Ducks fan, I am incredibly stoked for the Ducks to embark on hopefully another historic season. But, before we even get there, we have been bombarded by the fact that for the first game against Arkansas State, there are 3,000 seats that have yet to be purchased. Even before Oregon became a college football superpower, it was, besides their jersey combos, the only real source of pride for Oregon football fans and the athletic department as a whole. However, now, 4 days away from game day they have had to put the remaining tickets on a groupon deal.

Due to recent circumstances, of me not being fully employed, I cannot afford to get a ticket for that game. However, you won’t ever catch me blaming other people for not going either. I don’t want people to feel sorry for me, because I don’t feel bad about this at all. If the Ducks lose this game and there are a few thousand people less than their normally are, guess who is to blame? The team, not the fans.

Last year, I never saw the crowd more excited or a game in Autzen in my four years as a student than I saw at the game against USC. And guess what? The Ducks lost. As much of a great accomplishment the 82 game sellout streak is, shit happens. People in the media and players but worst of all other fans moaning that this is some sort of tragedy is utterly ridiculous. Obviously folks in the athletic department have a job to do to try and sell tickets and I will never blame them for what they do.

If I could afford to go see the Ducks, no doubt I would. Maybe, before Saturday, something could change. I hope it does. But for the people like me and other people who will be watching the Ducks in HD on ESPN that night, you’re still a fan.

I miss the days when I was a student and could get a ticket whenever I wanted (I know this is an uncommon circumstance because I made some kind of deal with the GoDucks.com ticket devil). So if you can’t go and feel somehow inadequate and less of a Duck fan because you aren’t going, it’s okay.

If I had the money, I would love to see two offensive masterminds in Gus Malzahn and Chip Kelly go at it. But, if, for some reason the Ducks falter, it’s not our fault. I guarantee that would be Chip Kelly’s line and he would be right. I don’t see that happening, but you’re no less of a real fan if you can’t go.

But if you’ve got the dough to spare, go to Autzen. There are few things better than 60,000 or a few thousand less people getting behind one thing. It’s something you don’t see often anymore and it’s one of the reasons I can’t wait for college football to be back.
